Summary

AGIX Linux has one or more Customer Portal servers in each region of operation. Customer and potential customer information (such as licencing and contact information) is stored on such servers. Information is not copied or moved to any other location. The remainder of this page explains this in more detail and provides clarity on related and peripheral matters. See exceptions below.

Regions

AGIX Linux uses cloud computing providers such as Amazon AWS. AGIX Linux references to regions on this website are as the relevant cloud computing provider advertise.

Customer Information

Customer information remains in the same region as it was received by AGIX Linux.

Backups and High-Availability

Backups (such as Customer Portal related backups, configuration backups and logs) are stored within the same region as the originating AGIX Linux server. There is no failover or high-availability extending or utilising any location other than the originating region.

Logs

Server logs (such as Customer Portal login activity, registrations, and normal server logs) are stored within the same region as the originating AGIX Linux server, but may be copied to a central location for storage and processing. However, no customer data is included in this scheme. Customer data remains in the region it was collected in.

Emails & Communications

Communication such as email, HTTP and HTTPS traffic to AGIX Linux servers is not manageable or controlled by AGIX Linux. Communications to and from AGIX Linux servers may be routed across any country or region, and is outside the control or AGIX Linux. Emails originating from AGIX Linux servers may be sent via other regions.

Exceptions

The following list of exceptions should be considered by customers and potential customers.

  1. Email, HTTP and HTTPS traffic may take routes outside of your preferred region.
  2. AGIX Linux’s legal compliance and obligations may require sharing customer and potential customer data with appropriate authorities.
  3. Information entered into the wrong regional Customer Portal is not the fault of AGIX Linux and remains the responsibility of the customer or potential customer.
  4. AGIX Linux may use information from other regions strictly limited to resolving the issue as raised by the relevant customer or potential customer. Such information is limited to relevant and minimal information.
  5. AGIX Linux can only be responsible for information and actions under its control. The actions of cloud computing providers, ISPs (Internet service providers), customers and potential customers is theirs alone, and not AGIX Linux.
